In the early morning hours the mist shrouds everything, but usually it is lifted by eleven and the brilliant sun breaks through on the golf game of your life...and if you take a mate, the most romantic thing in the world is a stunning sunset, as the bagpiper wends his way over hill and dale at The Inn at Spanish Bay.
The public courses include Poppy Hills, the Links at Spanish Bay which you can play when you stay at the Inn, Spyglass Hill which was designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr., and of course, the famous Pebble Beach Golf Links with the Lodge, shops and dining.
And if you take a day off from golf, you can always venture forth and enjoy the other attractions. Carmel-by-the-Sea, Big Sur, Cannery Row, Monterey Bay Aquarium, the Carmel Mission plus seal and whale watching.
